The Amagansett Life-Saving and Coast Guard Station Museum will host its 34th annual Largest Clam Contest on Sunday, October 5, from noon to 3 p.m. at the station on Atlantic Avenue. The event will feature live music, a chowder contest, a live marine species exhibit and other activities. Chowder entries must be delivered by 11:30 a.m. on the day of the contest, and clams entered must be dug between September 29 and October 4 from waters in East Hampton Town. The Children’s Museum of the East End, known as CMEE will celebrate 20 years of play with “CMEE’s Big Birthday Bash” on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to noon. Bethany Dellapolla has been named Bay Street Theater’s new director of education and community outreach, strengthening the theater’s commitment to year-round arts education on the East End. An actress, director, choreographer, intimacy director, stage combatant, and teaching artist, Dellapolla has been part of Bay Street’s education team for 13 years.
