Walter Schreiber
Longtime Wainscott resident Walter Schreiber died on Wednesday, November 2, in Sebastian, Florida. He was 68.
Mr. Schreiber owned East End Roofing and KW Floor and Tile in Southampton, East Hampton and Wainscott. In 2003, he retired and moved to Florida where he created award-winning copper sculptures and art.
He is survived by his wife Georgann Hollis Schreiber of Florida; children, Sandra Carbaugh of Southampton, Melissa Schreiber of Florida, Summer Evans of Florida, Kevin Schreiber of South Carolina, Wayne Schreiber of Manhattan, Jonathan Young of Florida and Justin Young of Florida; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
