A class to introduce beginners to contemporary dance, a style that blends elements of classical ballet technique, modern dance, jazz, and lyrical. Students will learn basic ballet technique along with movement that focuses on shapes, level changes, and improvisation. The class will include center floor warm up with ballet and jazz elements, across the floor exercises and short dance combinations.
