Jake Lear is a Blues and Roots musician who has released two acclaimed blues albums. NO Depression Magazine said of Lear’s album …”Diamonds & Stones, is an amalgam of muddied roots reverb, Mississippi Hill Country stomp, and tasty nuanced grooves. Lear’s a new-school bluesman that celebrates his elders, yet has a sound completely his own.”
Elmore Magazine said Lear’s album “is the perfect marriage of Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited and Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Texas Flood. The elements that made those albums classics are alive in Lear’s music and blend into a fresh expressive, musical vocabulary.
For years Jake had a residency playing on Memphis, TN famed Beale Street where he earned a reputation for giving hard hitting honest blues performances night after night. In 2012 Jake relocated to the East End to start his family.
