In midlife, she turned to art making, first by cutting up her own prints and refashioning them into collage.
Finck's paintings, mostly acrylic on paper, are abstract and nature based. Her themes are the oneness of natural phenomena – similar patterns at the cellular and astronomical levels – and of fragmentation.
