Join a virtual tour of artists’ prints in Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner’s house. Then Joyce demonstrates a simple techqniue you can try at home—collograph printmaking. Using textured materials, create your printing plate. Roll ink onto it, and print it out without using a printing press.
Supplies needed: sheet of cardboard, sheet of paper, glue and scissors, one color of printmaking ink, brayer (roller), and stiff textured items to print such as corrugated paper, bubble wrap, foam sheets, popsicle sticks.
