How do artists advocate for social justice through public art? Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator, and Lisa Lehman Trager, Lehman’s duaghter, present Harold Lehman’s mural, Man’s Daily Bread, for the Riker’s Island Penitentiary mess hall -- painted under the auspices of the WPA. Following, Joyce presents artists such as Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey, and others who create murals with a cause. Then learn tips for creating a mural and how to communicate with clients as Joyce shares her own experience as a muralist working with thousands of students in schools.
