ArtRemsenburg: Art Returns To Remsenbureg
ArtRemsenburg presents an intimate visual arts show featuring a group of four acclaimed local artists from Remsenburg and the surrounding area.
“This is a special show celebrating the re-opening of the Academy for the season, however belated.” stated ArtRemsenburg committee member Paul Dempsey, “We will be practicing social distancing and a mask will be required to enter.”
All the works are for sale, interested buyers will deal directly with the artists to arrange sales. A website has been set up for reference with all of the show info: https://hamptonsgateway.com/artremsenburg
This special return show will open Thursday, July 2nd. Unfortunalely we can not have a reception at this time. Admission is free. This is a perfect opportunity to support the local arts community.
Artists participating are: Jean Arena-Barbieri, Paul Dempsey, Pamela Bracken Morrison and Steven Schreiber.
The Remsenburg Academy is located at 130 South Country Road in the quiet hamlet of Remsenburg. This historic building, built in the late 19th century as a boy’s school, was recently named a Landmark by the Town of Southampton and continues to play a key role in the everyday life of the entire community. The Academy is delighted to present ArtRemsenburg, which brings painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media events to this magical setting in a series of summer art shows.
