Artist Steve Alpert will be one of a few select artists featured in the Art Studio Hamptons Gallery Exhibit, Local Color. Alpert is a painter based in NYC & Quogue.
Alpert has worked in landscape, portraiture, abstract and creating paintings that honor the men and women who serve in the US Armed Forces. His work is a part of the following collections: The Pentagon, Naval War College Museum, Museum of the United States Marines, Air, Mobility Command Museum. Alpert’s work has raised close to $500,000 for organizations that assist veterans and their families. His work has been shown in galleries and art fairs throughout the US. He has been nominated by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Distinguished Citizen Award.
