In a conversational exchange between gallery associate, the artist/curator Mago, and the two artists, Darlene Charneco will discuss her exploration of language, codes, books, and tactility in works from her Prayers and Perceptions series as well as Emerging Architectures, a large work exploring the evolution and shifts of humanity's shared spaces. Alex Vignoli will tell the stories and reveal the sources of his Livros (Books) and the related series Too Many Stories. He will relay what the images transmit conceptually and philosophically and how they relate with and have significance in his life. The public will have this opportunity to talk with Darlene and Alex to learn about the artists’ creative methods and mediums, and more.
The talk coincides with SouthamptonFest and Oscar Molina Gallery is a participating stop in the Art + Design Crawl taking place that Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
