Come on down to the Stephen Talkhouse at 8pm on July 11th for a great night of live music by East End local band Audawind. If you’re a fan of modern country, southern rock, and/or just want to dance, you’re not gonna want to miss this one!
AUDAWIND:
Based on the North Fork of Long Island, Audawind is a three-piece country band that combines the danceable, fun nature of modern country with the soul of southern rock into a unique sound that fans of all genres can enjoy. At an Audawind show, the crowd will surely be dancing and singing along.
The trio has been playing together since elementary school and over the last two years they have released seven songs onto Apple Music and Spotify. With the release of their eighth song “Hurricane Road,” Audawind is excited to share a lot more music in 2022. Ben and Sam have taken courses at Berklee College of Music since 2020 and will be attending Belmont University in the fall to study songwriting and audio engineering, respectively. Shelby is a classically trained singer and has taken voice lessons since she was nine. She is currently studying music at Dartmouth College. The trio performs at a wide range of venues, from local establishments in the Hamptons and on the North Fork, to the Indiana State Fair, to opening the Sag Harbor American Music Festival this past September.
Audawind was founded on an intense love for music and creating, a desire to spread positivity through good music, and the drive to perform. The Dufton siblings are a musical family with a mission to leave the world a happier place than when they found it by means of great music.
