Larry Samuel, author of Making Long Island: A History of Growth and the American Dream will speak about his recent book. Discover Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk counties) between 1920 and 1980, adding to our understanding of not just the history of the island but that of New York State and the United States, as well as the mythology of the American Dream.
This workshop will take place in the lower level program room.
