Birds! Birds! Birds! This family program is for children ages 3 and older.
Program Leader: Olivia McGranaghan, SOFO Environmental Educator
Learn about the birds that live on Long Island year-round and the ones that are now migrating to Long Island as it starts to get warmer! Understand birds’ migratory patterns and what makes their migration different from that of other animals. After we’ve learned about bird migration, we’ll make a pinecone bird feeder that you can take home.
There is a $15 fee for Adults and $10 fee for children for this program. This program fee will also provide non-members with free admission to the museum on a day of their choice. Members are free.
Advanced reservations are required for all events. To register for this program, please contact us at info@sofo.org or call 631-537-9735.
