Blowin’ in the Wind: The Hidden Hands of East Hampton

Description:

The East Hampton Library's Long Island Collection presents this illustrated lecture by Winterthur scholar Laini Farrare, who will share her research on the people of color who helped shaped East Hampton's built landscape and windmill technology. Laini's presentation will include the 1795 Gardiner's Island windmill built by Nathaniel Dominy V.
