Residents of Wainscott and all persons interested in local preservation are invited to a Community Forum for the Wainscott Reconnaissance Survey Project on Saturday, November 18, at 10:00 am, at the Wainscott Chapel or by Zoom.
This first Wainscott Reconnaissance Survey Community Forum will be an information session with preservation consultant Sarah Kautz about the reconnaissance survey and an opportunity for the public to ask questions and submit comments about this project.
A reconnaissance survey is the first step towards identifying historic properties and understanding their significance within local, state and/or national historic contexts. The purpose of a reconnaissance survey is to establish basic historic and/or architectural contexts associated with the development and physical character of an area.
To learn more about the survey project, please go to our website, wainscottheritageproject.org or email info@wainscottheritageproject.org.
Reservations are not required to attend in person. If attending by Zoom, please email info@wainscottheritageproject.org
