On Tuesday, July 26, East End Food Institute is teaming up with Cornell Cooperative Extension's (CCE) Marine Program to host the first ever in-person Cook a Fish, Give a Fish event at East End Food Market in Riverhead. Join East End Food Institute's Chef Jay Lippin as he prepares Local Tilefish Ceviche followed by sustainable seafood discussions from local fisherman, Jermaine Owens of North Fork Seafood, and CCE's Fisheries Specialist, Kristin Gerbino.
Learn to choose, purchase, and prepare the best local seafood Long Island has to offer. Enjoy a beautiful meal with new and familiar faces while sharing the local bounty with others. Each ticket purchased allows us to provide 25 local seafood meals tocommunity members in need.
