8 weeks, Summer Camp (July 5 - August 28) - 2 week minimum sign up
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 - 2:30 pm
Age group: 4 - 11 years (please inquire if you have an 11-16 year old interested in participating)
Fee: $500 per child per week - Single week and trial classes are available, please inquire.
Daily Schedule:
10:00 - 11:30 am Daily dancing and singing practice (Weeks 3 & 4 feature TikTok dance)
11:30 - 12:15 am Acting and theatre games
12:15 - 12:45 pm Picnic lunch (Please bring your own lunch and we will provide additional drinks and snacks)
12:45 - 1:15 pm Free choice (playground, museum, mini golf) and break or quite time
1:15 - 2:30 pm Play practice/ playwriting
*** Every other Thursday we will feature a live performance for family and friends in the CMEE Amphitheatre! (On Thursday week 4, we will also feature the recording of our own TikTok videos with the dances we have learned.)
All free play will be supervised by teachers. On hotter days we will offer sprinkler access and cooling spray bottles!
Class description:
A fun, smart and sassy TikTok class with a little more “class!” - pun intended.
Our talented team of teaching artists will introduce your child to dance basics starting with a quick warm up followed by a “dance” to break down famous moves they see and love in their favorite TikTok videos.
The class is taught in a cardio dance style - this means we keep the music going and teach with lots of repetition in fun and attention catching ways.
The team will then guide the dancers in creating their very own TikTok videos and performances for family and friends.
This is a great class for beginners and more experienced dancers too.
