East End Food Market in Riverhead is a project of the nonprofit East End Food Institute running Saturdays from 9:00am - 2:00pm at 139 Main Road in Riverhead. With over 50 local food, farm, beverage and craft vendors, the market is perfect for day trippers and area residents of the North and South Forks looking to enjoy the bounty of the East End.
Special offerings on Saturday, April 15 include:
- Springtime flowers and arrangements from local florist, Backyard Bloom
- Vegetarian, cheese and meat pierogies from local producer, Agnes’s Pierogies
- All things Earth Day with Slow Food East End, and information about their upcoming free event with Ecological Culture Initiative
