Miller’s Ground, East Hampton (5 miles)
Ramble around on the high forested hills at Miller’s Ground, just inside East Hampton Town and north of East Hampton Airport. Beautiful woods match interesting trails with some switchbacks. Topography makes this a challenging hike by Long Island standards. This is a joint hike of the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society, Southampton Trails Preservation Society, and Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference. Meet 10 AM on Wainscott Northwest Road, where electric power lines cross the road, approx. 0.7 mile north of East Hampton Airport terminal building.
