The visual and visceral impact of art is evinced in the human journey since the beginning of time when some creative soul picked up a rock and began to draw. It’s been said that there are only 7 basic narrative plots. Overcoming the Monster. Rags to Riches. The Quest. Odyssey. Comedy. Rebirth. And Tragedy. Yet from those 7 come countless manifestations.
Every picture tells a story and lets the art speak for itself. Some iconic images take the viewer back in time to the first moment a memory was formed. Others engage with dynamic visuals of America’s cinematic voyage eliciting laughter and camaraderie.
Abstract paintings may not speak as boldly as vivid geometric accents that create stunning portraits of women donned in the mod fashion of the 60’s who stare at the viewer with a look that says if only but their softer hues and evocative compositions where one can feel the energy in the execution says, ‘come take this ride with me.’ And then you find Batman atop a stiletto. Now there is definitely a story there.
