The Adult Faith Formation invites all ages to join us as we celebrate our annual Festival of Lessons and Carols. Enrich the season of Advent with an afternoon of beautiful music and readings from scripture that speak to us while we are waiting for Christ.
Lessons and Carols is a traditional Advent Service that began in King’s College, Cambridge, England in 1918. This historic service includes Old and New Testament readings anticipating the birth of our Savior, followed by the singing of a carol appropriate for that reading. Our program will consist of nine readings (lessons) and songs (carols) by our parish choirs. There will be a strings ensemble of violins and cellos. All are welcome. There is no registration or fee.
