Alice Hope is a multimedia artist whose primary medium is can tabs. Her work juxtaposes High and Low art, allowing it to be accessible to all.
The artist stated, "in my work, I focus on the used can tabs as a relic of consumption and as a token for redemption. Ultimately, all my work is devoted to the tension between minimalism/maximalism and numeracy's hybrid aesthetic."
Critic George Negroponte: "Hope stakes her world on the hypnotic: a spellbound fixation on the process as she drives home her view of the universe."
