On Saturday July 13 Callen-Lorde will host its annual Hamptons Tea Dance with DJ Amber Martin. This vibrant, not-to-be missed outdoor celebration draws an impressive crowd of over 1,000 notable LGBTQ+ New Yorkers and their allies making it the largest LGBTQ+ event in the Hamptons.
Who: DJ Amber Martin is an celebrated, award-winning International Performing Artist, Cabaret star & Professional DJ in NYC playing vintage vinyl as her favorite medium. She has played parties for SNL, The Tony Awards, Will Ferrell, Hedwig and The Angry Inch on Broadway, The Tribeca Film Festival, Museum of The Moving Image, Princeton University, Sundance Film Festival, NYC Fashion Week in collaboration with Designer Rachel Comey and legendary NYC party queen, Susanne Bartsch. She has been a recurring DJ at legendary NYC venues, The Boom Boom Room, Schiller’s, Lucky Strike Restaurant, Hotel Chantelle and The Ace Hotel among others. She has co-DJ’d with Michael Stipe (R.E.M), Fred Schneider (B52’s), Jake Shears, John Cameron Mitchell and Woody Harrelson to name a few.
