In advance of John Steinbeck's birthday (actually Feb. 27), guest speakers including commentator/writer John Avlon, and docents of the Steinbeck House, Sag Harbor, will read from the works of the Nobel prize-winning writer who lived in our village. Excerpts from Steinbeck's Sag Harbor letters, his last novel Winter of Our Discontent, and his travelogue Travels with Charley will be among the selections read.
Join in a Steinbeck trivia game, and enjoy a some birthday refreshments.
