Meet Ken and hear everything you need to know to enjoy recreational and sportfishing on the East End of Long Island. His program will include an overview of local fishing regulations and the permits that are required to enter the hobby as well as an exploration of the seasonal availability of your catch. Ken will also bring a number of show and tell items along such as rods, reels, lures, and live bait samples. In the end he will demonstrate how the use of various types of fish traps will not only provide you with the food for fish to bite but will also immerse you into the world of marine and freshwater biology!
