This talk will be an overview of the humpback whales off in the New York Bight, using drones to collect data on local whales, and how the health and body condition of New York whales varies within the greater North Atlantic population.

Chelsi Napoli is a Ph.D. candidate at Stony Brook University. Her dissertation work focuses on assessing the health of New York humpback whales. She has previously worked on whale watching vessels, and animal conservation and outreach.
