Rose de Rose, born into a wealthy and highly ranked family, grew to scorn the rituals and fashions of High Society. As a child, she loved roaming her family's 12-acre estate in Southampton. As an adult, after inheriting the property, she turned it into a farm, raised pigs and chickens and delivered fresh eggs to people she favored.
