July 31, 10:00 A.M. HITHER WOODS COASTAL TRAIL (4 miles)
We will hike a combination of the Old North (Rum Runners) Road and Coastal Trails, enjoying great views of Gardiners Bay, which is sometimes calm, often windswept, and always spectacular. Take Route 27 east to Second House Road. Go north (left turn) about one mile. Cross the LIRR tracks and make a left turn on to Navy Road; follow road to the end. Leader: Steve Murray 917-797-6265.
