At our annual Water Communion, we gather the waters of our lives—symbols of where we have been and who we are becoming—and pour them into a common bowl, reminding us of our deep interconnection. This year, we turn to the humpback whale, often called the superheroes of the sea. Their courage and compassion ripple outward, reminding us of the sacred call to defend and care for one another. As we join our waters, may we also join our strength to be protectors of life, guardians of community, and stewards of the fragile ocean of existence we share.
