The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society (AMSEAS) is teaming up with NYS Parks and members from local indigenous tribes to host a centennial celebration in honor of “I Love My Park Day” at Hallock State Park Preserve on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10am-3pm. The event will include a trail walk to learn about the Native and Natural Heritage of the North Fork, a beach cleanup, tree planting, and a collective prayer ceremony led by members of the local Indigenous community.
