The Church is thrilled to resume its series Insight Sundays, an exciting chance to hear artists discuss their practice in front of one of their own works of art. The setting will be more intimate than a formal artist’s talk and will allow the audience to slow down and focus on a single work of art.
We are honored to have artists Linda K. Alpern and Jeremy Dennis join us. Both artists have artwork included in our spring exhibition Empire of Water. The two will speak for around half an hour in the exhibition before The Church is open to the public. A Q&A will follow, allowing the audience time to engage with the artist and their work. Insight Sundays are the ultimate behind the scenes sneak peek and a wonderful opportunity to hear an artist focus on an individual piece, see it through their eyes, and explore how it relates to their body of work, career, process, and interests.
