Then Kimberly Musial Datchuk , Curator of Learning & Engagement, Stanley Museum of Art, will present the story behind Pollock's 1943 Mural, which is in the museum's permanent collection. The mythology around Mural has become almost as famous as the painting itself. How true are the tales, and how did Mural end up in Iowa? Learn more about the history of this fascinating painting as it prepares to return to the Stanley Museum of Art after an international tour.
