Celebrate Mother's Day with music at a beautiful Sunday afternoon concert, May 11, at 4 PM. The JAMESPORT MEETING HOUSE CHORUS has an awesome concert planned, starting with the contemplative Alleluia by Phillip Hayes, A Million Dreams by Pasek/Paul (made famous by Hugh Jackman in The Greatest Showman), the foot-stompin' Everybody by Pinkzebra, evocative Good Night, Dear Heart by Dan Forrest, and Carry the Light by Andy Beck. Special music includes Cantos de Espana: Cordoba (Albeniz) performed by Jeff Wentz, The Flag Song (Sondheim) sung by Rusty Kransky and Pack Up Your Sorrows (Farina/Marden) sung by Dee Martin. You will enjoy singing along to Peter, Paul and Mary favorites: If I had a Hammer, Leaving on a Jet Plane, 500 Miles, Blowing in the Wind, Four Strong Winds and This Land is Your Land. Leave the dishes until later and come to the Meeting House to have a LOT OF FUN this Mother's Day.
