Steve Sandberg, a pianist and composer known for his seamless fusion of jazz and world music traditions, brings vibrant rhythmic layers and harmonic sophistication to the stage. Pete Swanson, a fixture in New York’s improvised music scene for more than twenty years, bridges the straight-ahead and avant-garde worlds with fluid command and fearless creativity. Having worked with icons such as Frank Kimbrough and Tony Moreno, Swanson’s sound is rooted in experience yet open to exploration. Ken Fowser is a dynamic New York saxophonist known for his soulful tone, tight swing, and modern hard-bop sound.
