Jeremy Ajani Jordan returns to the library for an afternoon of inspiring piano music featuring the works of Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk and others in honor of Jazz Appreciation Month. Classically trained, he has performed to “thunderous applause” in venues around the world and received recognition as a composer of solo piano music, chamber music, orchestral music, and electronic music. He has been critically acclaimed “a clear technical virtuoso,” “a rare talent,” and “a true Wunderkind.” Registration required.
