JHB Gallery is delighted to announce a collaboration with Carleen Ligozio, with a rotating exhibition of gallery artists’ work on view at the Southampton, Long Island boutique. Our current installation showcases work by Ellen Carey, Amanda Means, and John Noestheden.
Ellen Carey is represented by work from her “Dings & Shadows” and 20 X 24 Polaroid “Pulls” series. In Carey’s innovative photographic work, materials as well as colors take on meaning. These pictures in bold colors and expressive abstract compositions give dramatic form to the multiple twists and turns of the artist in the darkroom.
Amanda Means features a work from her celebrated 20 X 24 Polaroid "Light Bulb" series. “Much like a painter, I mix many different color gels to create these wondrous hues. The light bulb is transformed from its mass-produced origins to an object of unique beauty and limitless potential.”
John Noestheden will be showing two “Diamond Drawings”, exquisite works on paper composed of Swarovski silver crystals that map the constellations of the night sky across the shimmering surface of the paper.
