Ken Auletta, winner of numerous journalism honors, will be reading from his book, Hollywood Ending: Harvey Weinstein and the Culture of Silence, a vivid biography of Harvey Weinstein - how he rose to become a dominant figure in the film world and how it all came crashing down.
There will be a Q & A following the talk, as well as a book signing by the author. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
Ken Auletta, who has covered the Hollywood and media power game for The New Yorker for three decades, is the author of twelve books, including five national bestsellers. In 1992 he launched the Annals of Communications column for The New Yorker Magazine. He is a member of the New York Public Library's Emergency Committee for the Research Libraries, the Author's Guild, PEN, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Committee to Protect Journalists.
Tickets are $25 per lecture and will be available for purchase at 4:30pm at the gate on the day of the event, which is first-come, first-seated.
