Koto in the Afternoon: A special concert with distinguished performer MASAYO ISHIGURE, in collaboration with SEN Restaurant and the celebration of their 30th Anniversary

The Church welcomes Masayo Ishigure, renowned musician, and Koto player for a beautiful and intimate performance in our studio space alongside her gifted students. After the performance, there will be a brief Q&A with the performer and an opportunity to learn more about the beloved instrument. Named by Newsweek as one of the “100 Japanese People the World Respects,” Ishigure makes this special appearance at The Church before departing to join the Japanese Matsuri Festival, a day-long celebration of Japanese culture at Sen Restaurant.
