How do you turn a beautiful butterfly, distinguished beetle, or creepy crawly into a work of art? Anyone from total beginners to experienced entomologists can start your very own insect collection: pinning your favorite bugs to study, collect, or just to make some cool decor (plus they make a great gift for that special insect fan in your life)! Come join SOFO and educator Moe Kennedy to make your very own pinned insect display to take home! Materials fee: $20/person. Limited enrollment.

This program is for adults, teens, and children ages 12+.
For non-members, there is a $15 fee for adults and a $10 fee for children for this program. This program fee will also provide non-members with free admission to the museum on a day of their choice. Members are free. Advanced reservations are required for all events.
