On the heels of a very successful inaugural solo show in East Hampton at Colm Rowan Fine Art Gallery, artist Chris Kelly will be one of the featured artists at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair (www.hamptonsfineartfair.com) opening September 2, 2021 at The Southampton Arts Center (former Parrish Art Museum) in the center of Southampton Village. Kelly, whose sculptures sold out at his recent show, will be unveiling a brand new large scale metal sculpture for this art fair. The exclusive new sculpture will be part of the event’s sculpture garden, a new component to the Hamptons Fine Art Fair.
The Hamptons Fine Art Fair is a celebration of the East End’s new booming art scene. The 4-day high caliber event serves as a much-deserved tribute to the East End’s rich history as a haven for the creation and patronage of art. Kelly’s work will be among several notable artists in the sculpture garden curated by Eric Fischl. Other artists featured in the gardens include David Salle, Larry Rivers, Bill King, Hans van Bovenkamp, Mel Kendrick, Alice Aycock and Almond Zigmund.
In addition to his large-scale piece, Kelly will feature several additional sculptures and paintings at the Hamptons Art Fair. All of his work at the fair will be part of his “geometric abstracts” collection. “I am honored to be included in the Hamptons Art Fair.
