As part of its Lunch and Learn series, the Westhampton Free Library, 7 Library Ave., Westhampton Beach, will host a discussion on broken heart syndrome on Friday, Feb. 14, at 12 p.m. The discussion will be led by Dr. John P. Reilly of Stony Brook Cardiology and Specialty Care in Southampton. He will speak about how hearts and minds are linked, what causes broken heart syndrome and how stress hormones affect the cardiovascular system.
