Join us to shop at the new footwear label, Maile World’s first ever pop up this Saturday, August 19th from 10am to 7pm at Annabel the shop in Sag Harbor, NY. Nat Out East will also be pouring tasty wines from 4pm to 6:30pm.
15% of all proceeds made at the pop-up will be donated to Lahaina communities and families affected by the fires in Maui. Having lived in Hawaii with family still based there, this is an extremely personal cause to Maile World founder, Maile Schmidt.

Welcome to Maile’s World: handcrafted with peaceful intentions by Italian artisans, Maile Schmidt’s designs are inspired by memories of tropical fantasies from her childhood, growing up between Hawaii and Japan and a love for city life. The collection is feminine, romantic and a contemporary interpretation of the beloved 90’s kitten heels.
Maile Schmidt received a BA with an emphasis in footwear design and development from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA and studied pattern making and prototyping in Milan. She previously worked in footwear design and development at Halston and Tory Burch and was the designer for all in-house Revolve footwear and accessories brands for several years. It wasn’t until the pandemic that she decided to embark on what has been a three-year journey to design her eponymous label that embodies her spirit, style and aesthetic.
