Medicinal Plants at Hallockville Museum Farm will be the subject of a walking tour at the historic Riverhead farm homestead on Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Certified nutritional counselor, hobby farmer and homesteader, Toni Kaste, will lead a tour of the Hallockville campus exploring gardens, pathways, nooks and crannies for plants that have beneficial, medicinal uses. Hallockville Museum Farm, located at 6038 Sound Ave. in Riverhead, is a 28-acre preserved farm homestead that dates back to 1765. The Medicinal Plants at Hallockville walking tour is free to museum members, and $10 for nonmembers. Interested persons should register in advance at: www.hallockville.org.
