“Center For Jewish Life - Sag Harbor invites you to meet holocaust survivor Irene Zisblatt and hear her incredible story of surviving Auschwitz and the holocaust.
Irene Zisblatt born in 1929, is a Hungarian Holocaust Survivor, the only one out of her whole family. She was an inmate in Auschwitz-Birkenau, and was a victim of Joseph Mengele’s barbaric experiments. She is one of the few who was able to escape from the infamous death camp. She is author of, The Fifth Diamond a book about her story and was featured in Steven Spielberg’s, Oscar-winning documentary, The Last Days.
