In honor of #GlobalRecyclingDay, TSCW is hosting a special Metal for Tesla event on Saturday, March 19 from 9am – 3pm.
Join us for a day of recycling, upcycling, exhibits and activities for all ages. In addition to an incredible collection of educational and environmental enrichment opportunities, we’ll be celebrating all things metal (🤘) with a performance by Port Jefferson’s own “School of Rock.” 1 Stop Snack Shop will also be on site, serving up tasty treats for breakfast and lunch.
There’s no entry fee, but attendees are asked to bring metal to help raise funds to rebuild Tesla’s lab.
Desirable donation types:
Any item 75% or more metal
Vehicles, car parts, car batteries
Appliances and electronics (no TVs or computer monitors)
Metal furniture, shelving, pipes
