The Lichtenstein Center Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing program at Stony Brook University (Southampton Campus) is excited to announce an upcoming Open House and Student & Faculty Reading event. This event will provide prospective students and the public with a unique opportunity to explore the program and experience the creativity and talent of our students and faculty.
The Open House will take place on December 6th from 6 PM to 6:40PM at Chancellors Hall, Stony Brook Southampton Campus. During the Open House, attendees will have the chance to:
- Meet with program faculty and learn about the curriculum.
- Get insights into the admissions process and financial aid opportunities.
- Connect with current MFA students to gain a firsthand perspective on the program.
- Explore the vibrant and inspiring community of creative writers at Stony Brook.
At 7 PM, the Open House will be followed by a special reading featuring our accomplished MFA students and prominent writers from our faculty including Susan Scarf Merrell, Amy Hempel, and Paul Harding.
