Mind Body Project is excited to announce that the studio has teamed up with The Reform Club, an elegant and serene getaway in Amagansett, for a summer pop-up series in the Hamptons in July and August!
Mind Body Project is the first-ever fitness concept to combine high-intensity interval training and meditation, addressing the needs of both mental and physical health. After battling anxiety for many years, Mind Body Project's founder, Chris Stockel, realized that meditation brought him a real peacefulness of mind, so he designed the studio to help other New Yorkers who might be struggling with similar feelings.
The class begins with guided breathwork, aiming to ground and prepare the body for movement, ascends into challenging cardio and strength exercises, and closes with a final meditation, instilling focus and clarity. As many of us have been reexamining our own relationships to mental health, this practice inspires calm and healing, while delivering the intensity of the in-person classes that we've missed so much amidst the pandemic.
The pop-up classes will take place outside in the Sunken Garden at The Reform Club. Mats will be placed six feet apart and masks are optional for those who are vaccinated. The classes are complimentary for hotel guests.
