Harborfest returns the weekend of September 10-12. The event, which draws thousands of people to Long Wharf for attractions like the annual whaleboat race and the Moby Dick Marathon (which took a hiatus last year due to the pandemic), has enthusiastically returned.
The Church will be one of the co-hosts for the annual Moby-Dick Marathon on September 10th from 6 –10PM. Sponsored by Canio’s Books, this marathon was the first of its kind, and this year is more ambitious than ever, celebrating Melville’s 200th birthday. Chapters of Moby- Dick: or The Whale will be chronologically read at venues all over Sag Harbor.
