Join us at Ashawagh Hall and “A Moment in Time,” the work of seven talented artists, which will be on exhibit starting Friday, June 23, starting at 11a.m. and continuing until Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. The opening will be Saturday from 5pm to 7 pm.
The exhibit includes the work of eight local artists:
Carol Borelli’s work includes paintings, drawings and mixed media. Expressed in geometric shapes and vivid colors, and presented as abstract pastel drawings, her work interprets her intense personal memories and experiences.
Linda Greene Brosterman is a mixed media artist based in Tribeca and East Hampton. Her latest abstract expressions remind us of the awe-inspiring power and beauty of the ocean.
Noelle Giddings is a multi-faceted career artist based in Sag Harbor. Her paintings are a creative exploration of color, rhythm, and pattern.
Ronnie Grill, of East Hampton and Manhattan, says she is inspired by the beauty of the universe, with its varied shapes and colors. In recent years her work is predominantly in acrylics and collage.
Joseph Haber’s art incorporates Chakra Stones to balance the art piece with a clear flow of energy to help promote overall health and harmony in the physical and spiritual realm.
Mary Ryan is a contemporary artist inspired by what she sees around her.
Jane Stuart of East Hampton works in mixed media and 2D construction. Her recent work portrays flora and fauna using found glass over acrylics in the tradition of Mabel D’Amico.
Susana Tavel’s work in watercolors, acrylic and mixed media blend representation and abstraction, drawing inspiration from Long Island’s landscapes, the California coast, and the forests and ponds of Upstate New York.
Historic Ashawagh Hall is located at 780 Springs-Fireplace Road in the heart of the Springs neighborhood of East Hampton.
