Montauk Hike with EHTPS, Saturday June 3 at 10 AM
Right- of- Way Trail and BYO Picnic (3 miles)
We will walk along the charming fern-lined section of the Paumanok Path that runs behind the Montauk Library and continue onward to the shore of Lake Montauk. Weather permitting, we will stop for a time to enjoy the view. If you want, bring refreshments for a light picnic snack before we retrace our steps back to the library. A seasoned walker once said, “If you want to see something new, take the same route you took yesterday”, (or in this case, “the same day”). The trail can be muddy in places, so boots or waterproof shoes are recommended, especially after rainy weather.
